What Governors Do

The role of the Governors is to:

 

  • Provide a strategic role

  • Act as a critical friend

  • Ensure accountability


How Do Governors Work

The full Governing Body meets at least once a term. It is important that Governors have a good relationship between themselves, the head, and the staff and they work hard to make sure that this is the case. This means that they are able to trust each other and so work well together.

If you wish to contact the Chair of Governors you can do so either via the school email,  office@inglehurst-jun.leicester.sch.uk, or in writing addressed to the school and we will ensure it is passed on.

 

If you are interested in becoming a Governor, please contact the school via email letting us know what skills and attributes you can offer to the Governing body.
